NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Oasis Reality, 112 S. Country Road Suite 102, Bellport is seeking the following variances for signage:
Sec. 21-483. Specific sign regulations.
(b) Prohibitions.
(2) There shall be no illuminated signs located on the exterior of a building or in any windows. There shall be no signs that contain flashing, intermittent, rotating or moving lights
Sec. 21-484. Signs in the Business E District and Professional Business Zone.
- Each structure or building shall be permitted one (1) wall sign or one (1) projecting sign and one (1) detached or ground sign unless said structure or building has more than one (1) business enterprise conducted within. Then each business enterprise shall be permitted one (1) wall sign or one (1) projecting sign.
Proposed: Second illuminated sign in front of business
The multi-use building is located in the “E” Business District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-8-8.4.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
