NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Kyla Agran & Ilana Schwartz, 10 Academy Lane, Bellport are seeking the following variance to construct a screened porch in the rear of a single-family dwelling;
Sec. 21-221. Side yards.
In the Residence A District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than sixty (60) feet, and no one side shall be less than twenty (20) feet in width.
Proposed: Proposed screen porch addition setback 15 feet 2 inches from north side property line; side yards total 44 feet 1 inch
The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Academy Lane Historic District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-7-15.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
