PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Jennifer Kusa & Thomas Burkly, 22 Livingston Road, Bellport, NY are seeking the following variances to renovate an existing single family, 2-story dwelling:
Sec. 21-220. – Front yard.
In the Residence A District, there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than fifty (50) feet except that.
Proposed: Front yard setback of 42 feet.
Sec. 21-221. – Side yards.
In the Residence A District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than sixty (60) feet, and no one side shall be less than twenty (20) feet in width.
Proposed: Dwelling set back 9.15 feet from the north side property line; total side yards 37.17 feet.
The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-11-4-4. The property is in the “A” residence district. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
