PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Dennis & Michelina Maguire, 57 Bieselin Road, Bellport, NY are seeking the following variances to construct a covered front porch and an attached garage addition:
Sec. 21-266. – Front yard.
In the Residence B District, there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than forty (40) feet.
Proposed: New covered front porch setback of 31.8 feet from front yard lot line
Sec. 21-267. Side yards.
In the Residence B District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than forty (40) feet and no one side yard being less than fifteen (15) feet in width.
Proposed: 13.7 feet north side setback; 37.3 feet total side yard setbacks
The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-4-2-21. The property is in the “B” residence district. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
