PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on October 17, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Bellport Community Center located at 4 Bell St., Bellport, New York to consider the following application:

Susan Doud, 10 Brewster Lane, Bellport, NY seeks the following variance to construct an exterior basement entrance for a two-story, single-family dwelling:

Sec. 21-221. Side yards.

In the Residence A District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than sixty (60) feet, and no one side shall be less than twenty (20) feet in width.

Proposed: 18 feet 11 inch setback

The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-6-2-4.

All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
