PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application.

Mark Tomei, 26 Second Street, Bellport, New York, seeks the following variance to demolish an existing single story attached 2- car garage and construct a new single-story addition with a bedroom and one-car garage;

Sec. 21-268. Rear yard.

In the Residence B District, there shall be a rear yard having a minimum depth of fifty (50) feet.

Proposed: 28.6 foot rear yard setback

The property is located in the “B” Residence District.  The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-5-6-25. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
