PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Village of Bellport Historic District Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 9 am in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Douglas and Allie Hoffman, 28 Bellport Lane, Bellport are seeking to renovate and restore a two-story single-family dwelling and construct a wood pergola in the rear yard. Plans include restoration of a screened porch in the front of the dwelling; expansion of an upstairs bedroom; replacement of siding, roofing, windows, shutters and trim. The siding will be cedar shingles painted white; the roofing will be black asphalt architectural shingles; the trim will be wood painted white and the windows will be wood, 6/6, double hung windows; the shutters will be wood painted Essex green.
The property is located in the “A” Residence District and the Bellport Lane Historic District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-8-12. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
