PUBLIC HEARING

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on March 21, 2019 at 7:00 pm at the Bellport Community Center located at 4 Bell St., Bellport, New York to consider the following application:

 Robert Ballan, 70 S. Howells Point Road, Bellport, NY seeks the following variances to construct a new 6,670 square foot, two-story, single family dwelling with attached garage:

 Sec. 21-219. – Size of lot area.

In the Residence A District, no building shall be erected or altered on a lot, other than a corner lot, having an area of less than forty thousand (40,000) square feet or upon a lot, other than a corner lot, having a width of less than one hundred fifty (150) feet at its frontage upon a street.

Existing: 13.02 feet frontage on S. Howells Point Road

 Sec. 21-220. – Front yard.

In the Residence A District, there shall be a front yard having a depth of not less than fifty (50) feet.

Proposed: Dwelling set back 32.88 feet from front lot line

 The single family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District.  The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-13-1-6.3.

 All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
