NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Historic District Preservation Commission of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on August 24, 2024 at 9:00 am at the Bellport Community Center located at 4 Bell St., Bellport, New York to consider the following application:
34 Browns Lane, LLC, 34 Browns Lane, Bellport, NY is seeking to construct a three (3) square foot, single-story addition in the front of a single-family dwelling; construct a fifty (50) square foot, single-story addition on the north side of the dwelling and a twenty-five (25) square foot, single-story addition in the rear of the dwelling, change the screen openings for the windows and doors on the south side of the screen porch to be the same size as the existing and construct a roof deck over the existing kitchen. The siding will match the existing white, clapboard siding; the roofs on the north and rear additions will be flat roofs with EPM; the trim will be white pine to match the existing; the windows will be white, double hung to match the existing and the doors will be white, wooden French style to match the existing; the shutters will be black wood to match the existing. The railing for the roof deck will be white cedar match the existing railing on the south side of the dwelling.
The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Browns Lane Historic District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-9-1-2.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
