Historic District Preservation Commission Hearing – Re: 13-15 Bell Street – Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 9:00 am

NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Historic District Preservation Commission of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 9:00 am at the Bellport Community Center located at 4 Bell St., Bellport, New York to consider the following application:

Jason Bornstein & Jacob Prussky, 13-15 Bell Street, Bellport, NY are seeking to renovate the exterior a two-story, single-family dwelling and a detached garage.  Renovations include changing the existing white, vinyl clapboard siding to red cedar shingle; changing the white vinyl trim to white wood; replacement of existing windows with white, 4 x 4 double hung windows; combining the double windows on the front dormers to a single window; changing the roof of the existing front roof over entry from a pitched roof to a flat roof or removing the roof over structure.

The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Bell Street Historic District.  The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-3-35.

All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
