PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:

John Sparling, 5 Colonial Lane, Bellport, NY is seeking to restate the following variances to construct a rear addition which were originally granted June 15, 2023:

Sec. 21-267. Side yards.

In the Residence B District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than forty (40) feet and no one side yard being less than fifteen (15) feet in width.

Proposed: Side yards total 29 feet

The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-7-5-7. The property is in the “B” residence district. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
