NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Historic District Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 9 am in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:

Remy Bernstein and Holly Wohlhandler, 9 Bell Street, Bellport are seeking to construct a single-story rear addition on the west side of a single-family dwelling, and a construct second story rear addition on the east side of the dwelling.  The siding will be natural cedar shingles to match the existing dwelling; the roofing will be black asphalt shingle to match the existing roof; the trim will be wood, painted white match the existing; the shutters will be wood, painted white; the windows will be wood painted white.

The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-8-3-33. The property is in the “A” residence district and the Bell Street Historic District. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
