PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Architectural Review Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Vishaan Chakrabarti & Maria Alataris, 14 Shore Road, Bellport, NY are seeking to renovate and enlarge an existing single-story, single-family dwelling. They are also seeking to add an in-ground swimming pool and garage under the dwelling, a deck with trellis in the side yard and retaining wall on the east side of the property. The siding will be Alaskan yellow cedar shingles which will weather gray; the roof will be Alaskan yellow cedar which will weather gray and the trim will be gray cedar. The windows will be a combination of gray, Reilly hurricane resistant awning, fixed and slider windows and the doors will be gray, Reilly hurricane resistant sliding and hinge. The bottom of the dwelling will be enclosed by pre-weathered, horizontal cedar boards and the retaining wall will be poured concrete with a gray finish.
The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-9-1-16.2. The property is in the “AA” Residence District. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.
