New York State and Bellport Village Marina Update

Marinas, boatyards, and boat repair maintenance and recreational marine facilities are now permitted to operate, under the condition that these facilities adhere to strict social distancing and sanitation protocols. Use of these sites for the purpose of personal recreational boating and other recreational watercraft is permissible. Charters and rentals are not permitted.

The Village’s new bulkhead is 98 percent complete. The storm water and electrical systems are well underway, then grading and resurfacing. This progress coupled with the news that New York State has authorized the use of recreational vessels to use local marinas is very exciting. The Village will share on our website the date that the dock will be open for residents to use the boat launch and dock their boats in their slips.

Throughout the construction project, we are very fortunate to have the first responder boats continue to be able to support our community from our Marina.
