1. Resolution: 78 Approve the Board Meeting Minutes of May 24, 2021.

3. Swearing in of Office: Maureen Veitch, Trustee – One Year Term (the position previously held by Deputy Mayor Joseph Gagliano, until his passing on March 21, 2021).

4. Resolution: 80 Schedule the Reorganizational Meeting for Monday, July 6, 2021 in conjunction with the regularly scheduled Work Session in Village Hall: and the next Board Meeting will be July 19, 2021.

5. Approve the following payments:

  • Resolution: 81 Approve General Fund Checking Abstract Report #1. Consisting of 87 vendors:

6. Resolution: 83 Approve the Budget Transfers as of June 21, 2021

7. Update on Bonding Process:

  • Bond Closing took place on May 25, 2021
  • Principal payoff of $671,600 BNB/Dime Bond Anticipation Note loan for the DPW Yard Project
  • Principal payoff of $249,600 BNB/Dime Bond Anticipation Note loan on the Main Pier

8. Resolution 84 Accept Funding from HUD through the administration of the Town of Brookhaven for our Senior Program in the amount of $50,000, to begin on September 1, 2021.

9. Resolution 85 Approve Memorandum of Agreement between Local 342, UMD, ILA, AFL-CIO: Article 3: Section A – Wages: June 1, 2021 through June 1, 2025, Dated June 3, 2021.

10. Resolution 86 Approve Promotion and Salary Increase for Kelly Stumpo, to Treasurer at $90,000 per annum, beginning June 1, 2021.

11. Resolution 87 To approve retirement final payout for Edward Jakum (tenue of 34 years) of accrued sick and vacation time in the amount of $30,896.12

12. Resolution: 88 Approve Department of Public Works: full time employee Tyler Furia, effective May 3, 2021 at the rate of $27.33 per hour.

13. Resolution: 89Approve Department of Public Works: full time employee Kyle Geraghty effective May 17, 2021 at the rate of $27.33 per hour.

14. Resolution 90 Approve 2021 Summer Seasonal Staffing and Salaries

15. Resolution 91  Accept and Approve Proposal for Auditing Services from Cullen Donowski: Audit of 2020-2021 Financial Statements, the Federal Single Audit and the Submission of the Annual Updated Document (AUD) to NYS; the fee for the above services is $34,000.

16. Resolution: 92 Accept and Approve the Accounting/Audit Consulting Agreement between the Village of Bellport and Ali McCabe Consulting.

17. Resolution: 93 FEMA and NYS Reimbursement of $69,344.97 for Debris Clean Up after Tropical Storm Isaias of August 4, 2020.

18. Resolution: 94  Approve Bellport Water District: SCWA Calculation of final payment of $3,894.13, in order to request a dissolution of the agreement.

19. Resolution: 95 Approval Renewal of the Three-Year Agreement with Mary Immaculate Church for the use of their fields for Kids’ Camp

20. Resolution: 96 Recapitulation of approved FEMA Main Pier Change Order Forms 1-4:

  • Change Order #1: $240,000.00 – Approved April 20, 2020
  • Change Order #2: $84,180.00 – Approved April 20, 2020
  • Change Order #3: $265,376.00 – Approved January 25, 2021
  • Change Order #4: $114,962.30 – Approved January 25, 2021

Total:                    $704,248.30

21. Resolution: 97 Authorizing an Encroachment Agreement between the Incorporated Village of Bellport and Roy Otwell to allow fencing, driveway and shrubbery to remain on Village property located adjacent to 4 Second Street. Further, authorize the Mayor to execute the necessary encroachment agreement required documents for filing with the Suffolk County Clerk.

22. Updates:

  1. Status of the FEMA Main Dock Project: Final Punch List Items
  2. DHC Government Advocacy Group – Status: US Congressman Lee Zeldin’s Office Grant Request for Proposal; in addition, Grant submissions to US Senator Gillibrand’s and Senator Schumer’s Offices 
  3. Weekend Extended Ferry Schedule: Adding a 6:00PM Ferry to Ho Hum and a 6:30PM and 7:30PM Return Ferry on Friday and Saturday Nights beginning July 2, 2021 through Labor Day Weekend.
