1. Resolution: 109 Approve the Board Meeting Minutes of June 21, 2021. 

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

2. Resolution: 110 Approve the Minutes from the Reorganizational Meeting July 6, 2021 

Motion:  Trustee Mackin – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

3. Approve the following payments:

  • Resolution: 111 Approve General Fund Checking Abstract Report #1. Consisting of 82 vendors:
    1. General Fund Expenditures:     $128,582.99
    2. Enterprise Fund Expenditures:  $   7,897.17
    3. Capital Fund Expenditures:       $   2,225.00

            Totaling:                                           $138,705.16

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  • Resolution: 112 Approve the Enterprise Fund Checking Abstract Report #2 Consisting of 9 vendors totaling, $86,760.14

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  •  Resolution: 113 Approve the Capital fund Checking Abstract Report #3 Consisting of 1 vendor totaling, $100.

4. Resolution: 114 Approve the Budget Transfers as of July 19, 2021

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

5. Update on Bonding Process:

  • Resolution: 115 Approve Bond principal payment of $30,000 and interest payment of $4,106.25 to be paid on July 15, 2021, for the $485,000 Bond

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  •  Resolution 116 Approve Bond interest payment of $3,181.25 due to the Depository Trust/Chase Bank on the $1.42M bond (Enterprise: 65% and General 35%). 

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  • Resolution 117 Approve Mayor Fell to sign the Engagement Letter for Audit Services from Cullen & Danowski in the amount of $29,000 for annual audit and the AUD, $5,000 single audit. 

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  • Resolution 118 Approve the final payment of $16,019.20 for accrued unused paid time off for Raymond Gaschott, who retired effective June 30, 2021, from the Bellport DPW. 

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Mackin – APPROVED

  • Resolution 119 Approve for Mayor Fell to sign the Settlement and Release Agreement between SCWA and the Village of Bellport. The Village of Bellport will pay SCWA the amount of $3,894.13

6. Resolution 120 Set a Public Hearing for August 23, 2021 “Regulation of Certain Licensed Home Improvement Contractors.” 

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

7. Resolution 121 Approve Ray Fell as liaison to the Tennis Club

Motion:  Trustee Mackin – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

8. Discussion: Late Ferry Service on Sunday

  • “Blue Water Vagabond Surf Festival September 18th (tentative date). 
  • Bellport Village Program Fund – Family Night at Mother’s Beach Saturday July 24, 2021 5pm – 7pm 
  • SBAA / Chamber of Commerce “1st annual Bellport Plein Air at the Bay” Sunday July 25, 2021 Bellport Village Dock. 10am – 430pm

11. Special Events Coming Up: Have already been approved

  • Bellport Day Saturday July 31, 2021. South Country Road closed from 8am – 5pm. 
  • South Country Education Foundation Annual Auction and Cocktail Party, Saturday August 14, 2021 12noon – 9pm

Special Election
for Vacated Trustee

A Special Election will be held to fill the Trustee position vacated by Steve Mackin effective December 31, 2025. The elected individual will serve the remainder of the term from April 7, 2026, through June 30, 2026.

Note: The regular Village Election will proceed as scheduled on June 16, 2026.
