1)      Resolution 9 Approve the following payments:

A.   General Fund Checking Abstract Report #9, 75 Vendors:

      General Fund Expenditures:    $112,587.40, and

      Enterprise Fund Expenditures:      9,481.38

                                          Totaling:  $122,068.78 

B.     Approve Enterprise Fund Checking Abstract Report #9, 12 vendors totaling, $78,092.87

C.     Approve Capital Fund Checking Abstract Report #9, 2 vendors totaling $256,535.29

2)      Resolution 10 Allow the Treasurer to make the necessary budget transfers, as listed in Exhibit 3.

3)      Resolution 11 Announcement: Upcoming Village Election on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 for:

4)      Resolution: 12 Public Hearing on a newly revised Solicitation Code, amending our current Code on Solicitation (Exhibit 4)

Motion:  Trustee Rosenberg – Second:  Deputy Mayor Gagliano – APPROVED

5)      Resolution 13 Accept and Approve the newly revised Solicitation Code, amending our current Code on Solicitation, if necessary.

6)      Resolution: 14 Postpone the Public Hearing to discuss and review amending Code on Driveways, limiting their size, until our next Board Meeting on March 23, 2020.

7)      Resolution 15 Postpone the Public Hearing on the proposed “No Parking” sign on Bellport Lane at Bell Street in front of Village Hall until our next Board Meeting on March 23, 2020.

8)      Resolution 16 Set a Public Hearing on Village Code and Bicyclists at our next Board Meeting on March 23, 2020

9)       Resolution ____ Approve recommended Golf Commission work on the Golf Course to be completed this winter by Parkland in the amount of $86,000 and paid from the golf assessment, retro-active. (Exhibit 5)

10)  Resolution 17 Approve the Agreement with Art in Nature Group (DBA: Center for Environmental Education and Discovery

(“CEED”) which provides Educational Programs at Ho Hum Beach and the Bellport Inlet with Center for Environmental Education and Discovery (CEED) access to Fire Island with the Village Ferry (Exhibit 6)

Motion:  Trustee Rosenberg – Second:  Deputy Mayor Gagliano – APPROVED

11)  Resolution 18 Approve declaring as surplus the following three DPW items: 1. 1 (one) Utility body taken off of 1989 GMC k3500; 2. 1 (one) 1985 GMC 6000 Flat-bed diesel Vin # 1GDG6D1F7FV617202; 3. 1 (one) 1998 Ford Expedition Vin #FMPU18L9WLB35360.  The two vehicles are in very poor condition and are no longer of any use to the Village of Bellport. The utility body is no longer needed as well.

12)  Resolution 19 Approve two-year contract agreement extensions to Contractors/Service Providers:  1.) Hartman for storm water drains, 2.) Roberts Asphalt for roadwork/sidewalks, and 3.) Palace Lighting for Electrical Services with fee structures remaining the same. (Exhibit 6A)

Motion:  Trustee Rosenberg – Second:  Deputy Mayor Gagliano – APPROVED

13)  Resolution 20 Approve the participation in the SCVOA Summer Intern Program, prospective Intern would earn $15 per hour on an important project, such as Record Retention Scanning and File Retention. (Exhibit: 7)

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Rosenberg – APPROVED

14)  Resolution ____ Set a Public Hearing Piercing the Tax Cap at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on March 23, 2020

15)  Resolution 21 Approve the Friends of Bellport Bay (FBB) Link be placed on our Village Website (Exhibit: 7A)

·         The FEMA Dock Project (FEMA: 4085-577112-PW4654)

·         Bridgehampton National Bank Bond Anticipation Note: $2.6M, rate is 3.15%

·         Other Village Dock Projects poised to go to BID (not under FEMA)

2.) Osborn Park/Row Boat Beach Dock – Sink Hole and Bulkhead,

1.      Saint Patrick’s Day Parade – Bellport Fire Department, March 28, 2020, tentatively at 11:00am, no parking on north and south sides of South Country Road for the parade. (Exhibit: 8)

2.      Bellport/Brookhaven Historical Society: Guest Speaker Event – “Artists and Authors,” Gail Collins, NYT Columnist and author of No Stopping Us Now: The Adventures of Older Women in American History. (Exhibit: 9)

3.      Ecumenical Sunrise Easter Service at Osborn Park – Mary Immaculate Church, April 12, 2020, expecting approximately 100 congregants. (Exhibit: 10)

4.      South Country School District – Kreamer Street School Visits (4) to the Bandshell Park Picnic – June 8-22, 2020

5.      Wedding Ceremony at Mothers’ Beach with the Bellport Country Club on Friday, July 23, 2021 ($800 fee). (Exhibit: 11)

6.      South Country Library – Outdoor Summer Movie at the Bay, in Bandshell Park, either Wednesday, August 21st, or August 26th.
