PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Historic District Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 9 am in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Kyla Agran & Ilana Schwartz, 10 Academy Lane, Bellport are seeking to construct a second story addition with dormers at the side and rear yards; construct a small rear addition and construct a screened porch in the rear of a single-family dwelling. The front concrete patio will be removed and replaced with a deck. The siding will be replaced with white cedar shingles; the roofing will be asphalt shingles to match the existing; the trim will be white wood; the shutters will be removed. Existing windows will be repaired and reglazed; new windows will be Anderson A-series.
The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Academy Lane Historic District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-7-15.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
