PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that should the Executive Order suspending New York Open Meetings Law not be extended past February 26, 2021, the Village of Bellport Architectural Review Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application. If the suspension of the New York State Open Meetings Law is extended past the above referenced date, the meeting will be streamed live over the internet and interested parties can find the link at www.bellportvillageny.gov.
Vishaan Chakrabarti & Maria Alataris, 14 Shore Road, Bellport, NY are seeking to renovate and enlarge an existing single story, single family dwelling and are proposing to raise the dwelling in accordance with the existing FEMA codes regarding construction in a flood zone. They are also seeking to add a gunite pool and a covered deck in a side yard. The siding will be light grey, pre-weathered cedar vertical boards; the roof will be a natural living sedum roof; the trim will be grey aluminum; the windows will be grey Marvin hurricane resistant awning, slider & double hung and the doors will be grey, Marvin French hurricane doors. The deck will be natural Ipe wood.
The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-9-1-16.2. The property is in the “AA” Residence District. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.
