1. Executive Session at 6:00PM

2. Open the Public Hearing regarding “Regulation of Certain Licensed Home Improvement Contractors.” 

3. Resolution: 122 Approve the Board Meeting Minutes of July 19, 2021. 

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – APPROVED

3. Review and approve the following payments:

    • Resolution: 123 Approve General Fund Checking Abstract Report #1. Consisting of 100 vendors:
      1. General Fund Expenditures:      $204,893.43
      2. Enterprise Fund Expenditures:    $13,238.29

                       Totaling:                                          $218,131.72

    • Resolution: 124 Approve the Enterprise Fund Checking Abstract Report #2 Consisting of 18 vendors totaling, $94,554.01
    • Resolution: 125 Approve the Capital fund Checking Abstract Report #3 Consisting of 2 vendors totaling, $45,460.68

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – APPROVED

    • Total taxes collected through August 18, 2021: $2,682,713.60 (94.36% of the budget)

5. Resolution: 126 Approve the Budget Transfers as of August 23, 2021.

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

6. Resolution 127 Set Public Hearing for September 27, 2021 regarding Cannabis (Exhibit 5 – to be distributed as soon as possible)

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

7. Resolution 128 Approve placing our 1977 Thomas Marine DPW Work Boat for sale via an advertisement to the highest bidder.

Motion:  Trustee Ferrigno – Second:  Trustee Veitch – APPROVED

8. Resolution 129 Approve the final severance payment of $6,056.20 for accrued unused paid time off for Alexandra McCabe, who resigned from her position as Treasurer. 

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

9. Resolution 130 Approve the proposed Playground Equipment, two pieces in the amount of $18,000, for Mothers’ Beach – donation by the Bellport Village Program Fund 

Motion:  Trustee Veitch – Second:  Trustee Ferrigno – APPROVED

10. Resolution 131 Approve new retainer agreement with Searles Graphics for updating website design 

Motion:  Deputy Mayor Rosenberg – Second:  Trustee Veitch – APPROVED

11. Resolution 132 Approve purchase of new Radar Sign. $10,360

12. Resolution 133 Approve new Hire Jessica Sarich, as Deputy Treasurer at $53,000 per year, full time, to begin September 13, 2021.

Special Election
for Vacated Trustee

A Special Election will be held to fill the Trustee position vacated by Steve Mackin effective December 31, 2025. The elected individual will serve the remainder of the term from April 7, 2026, through June 30, 2026.

Note: The regular Village Election will proceed as scheduled on June 16, 2026.
