NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Architectural Review Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:
Jessica Young, 87 N. Howells Point Rd, Bellport is seeking approval for existing exterior renovations and for proposed construction of a shed dormer in the front of the dwelling; an addition over the garage; a second story shed dormer addition in the rear of the dwelling and a front covered deck. Existing renovations include a 28-inch garage extension, a rear deck; a roof over front entry, new siding, roofing, and windows. The new siding is white cedar plank; the roofing is asphalt-gray shingles; the roof over the entry is black metal. The trim is white Azek and the windows are a combination of double hung, casement and sliders. The front dormer will have natural cedar shingles and the roofing be black metal; the rear dormer will have white cedar plank siding and gray asphalt shingles.
The single-family dwelling is located in the “B” Residence District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-5-1-2.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
