PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE thatthe Village of Bellport Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 7 pm in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:

Luis Lizarazo and Tyler Knapp, 62 Country Club Road, Bellport, NY are seeking the following variance to construct an addition to a single-family dwelling:

Sec. 21-267. Side yards.

In the Residence B District, there shall be two (2) side yards, one on each side of the building, the total width of both to be not less than forty (40) feet and no one side yard being less than fifteen (15) feet in width.

Proposed: Side yard width of 11.3 feet; total width 30.8 feet

The single-family dwelling is located in the “B” Residence District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-4-2-33.

All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
