NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the tentative budget for the fiscal year beginning June 1, 2020, has been completed and filed in the office of the Village Clerk, 29 Bellport Lane, Bellport NY 11713, where any interested person may obtain a copy between the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm. Copies are furnished for pick-up outside the front door of Village Hall. In addition, an electronic copy is posted on our Village Website: Bellportvillageny.gov.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Bellport shall hold a virtual public hearing on the tentative budget on April 13, 2020 at 6:00pm. The public will only have the ability to listen and observe during the meeting. The link to the meeting will be posted on our website.
Before such hearing, any person may give comment in favor of or against the tentative budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained via email (deputyclerk@bellportvillageny.gov), or by calling (631) 286-0327. Communications from the public will be considered at the public hearing.
Compensation proposed to be paid to Mayor and Trustee as follows:
Mayor $9,000.00 per year
4 Trustees $5,400.00 per year
