Public Hearing – Consider Proposed Amendments to Village Code §§ 2-302 and 2-310 12 year term limit for Mayor and Village Trustees – June 24, 2024 at 7:00 pm

BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on June 24, 2024 at 7:00pm at Bellport Community Center, located at 4 Bell Street, Bellport, New York, to consider proposed amendments to Village Code §§ 2-302 and 2-310 to provide for a twelve-year term limit for the mayor and Village trustees instead and in place of a ten-year term limit, and to hear all person that are interested in the adoption of such amendments.
