NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Historic District Preservation Commission of the Village of Bellport will hold a public hearing on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 9:00 am at the Bellport Community Center located at 4 Bell St., Bellport, New York to consider the following application:
JJM On The Lane, LLC, 6 Academy Lane, Bellport, NY is seeking to renovate the exterior of a two-story, single-family dwelling with an attached garage. Renovations include enclosing an existing breezeway; constructing a second story dormer; adding a covered front porch; adding shutters; partial conversion of the attached garage to pool storage; new windows, new siding, new roofing and new trim. The siding will be yellow cedar shingles; the roofing will be red cedar shingles; the trim will be white Azek; the shutters will be wood, painted forest green; the windows will be white and a combination of double hung, casement and awning.
The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Academy Lane Historic District. The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-8-7-13.
All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
