Historic District Preservation Commission Hearing – Re: 49 Browns Lane – December 13 at 9:00 am

NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Historic District Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 9 am in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:

Michael Tomei, 49 Browns Lane, Bellport, NY is seeking to construct a carport, add a driveway and a second story window.  All alterations will be on the north side of the dwelling. The carport will have a half wall constructed of brick with a bluestone cap and wood columns, painted white; the roof of the carport will be charcoal gray asphalt shingles; the driveway will be bluestone and the window will be double hung.

The single-family dwelling is located in the “A” Residence District and the Brown’s Lane Historic District.  The Suffolk County Tax Map Number is 0202-9-2-15.

All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard.  The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
