NOTICE OF

PUBLIC HEARING

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Bellport Historic District Preservation Commission will hold a public hearing on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 9 am in the Bellport Community Center, 4 Bell Street, Bellport, NY to consider the following application:

Daniel Nardello and Hilda Montane, 5 Hulse Street, Bellport, NY are seeking to replace an existing French door with a new double hung window on the first story of a two story, single family dwelling; the existing south side to receive a new IPE roof decking on second story; the siding will be white painted shingles to match the existing; trim will  be white painted wood to match the existing; the shutters will be green wood to match the existing except the proposed east window which will have no shutters; the front door will be painted green to match the existing house shutters on the west, east and south side.

Additionally, the stone pavers and steps of an existing covered patio will be replaced with blue stone pavers; the stone patio on the west and south side of the pool will be replaced with blue stone; a blue stone walk will be constructed in the front of the dwelling; the existing paver driveway will be replaced with crushed stone; the existing picketed fencing on south side entrance and north side will be replaced with 4 foot high wire coated fencing; primary picket fence and gate in front of house to remain; modify and relocate side gate and remove white pergola assembly above existing gate.

The Suffolk County Tax Map number is 0202-8-10-13.2. The property is in the “A” residence district and the Hulse-Tuthill Historic District. All persons with an interest may attend and will be heard. The Community Center is handicapped accessible.
