Message from Mayor Raymond Fell and our Village Trustees

To all Bellport Village Residents:

Hoping that this message finds you and your family well during these unprecedented times. We in Village Hall and our Department of Public Works are continuing to work, providing all essential services and responding to emergencies.

The DPW continues to collect garbage on our regular schedule. The Village Office continues to be closed; however, all your village business needs will be met by telephone, or by email.

All Village budget, work session and business meetings will continue to be held by teleconference with board members. All meetings are recorded and publicly available on our website. Any questions or comments should be directed to our Village Clerk, John Kocay, or to our Deputy Village Clerk, Katie Mehrkens, by phone at 631-286-0327, or via email at clerk@bellportvillageny.gov. If you have a question about a building permit, or construction, please call Marylou Bono at 631-286-0327, or via email at marylou@bellportvillageny.gov.

Please remember, the best way to slow or stop the COVID-19 Corona Virus is SOCIAL DISTANCING. As you know, please stay at least 6 feet away from people outside of your household. When in the Village, please do not walk in groups, or congregate in groups to talk. Say hello with a wave, talk at a safe distance and remember we will get through this, if we all are practicing social distancing.

Be safe,

Ray and the Trustees
